In Memoriam
One of Arizona’s best kept secrets, George Hamilton, left this earth to continue his journey, suddenly and without warning, on February 16, 2021.

George had a full life, doing what he loved to do, entertaining us with his beautiful voice, for over fifty years. He was a master entertainer and genuine friend, with a sincere and charming personality. George was well known in the Phoenix metropolitan area, with friends all over town. Performing at resorts, casinos. If you met him, you felt that you ran into an old friend.

George loved all types of music. He worked with numerous top-name acts, including Tony Bennett, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and The Whispers to name a few. He also worked with comedians Phyllis Diller, Bill Cosby, and was a personal friend of Redd Foxx.

George worked at bringing back the lost music of the Baby Boomer generation, The Temptations, Lou Rawls, and Teddy Pendergrass were a few of his favorites. He was the complete entertainment package, dressing the part, his smooth dance moves, and interacting with the audience, whether he was performing a large show with his band or a private show with music tracks. His stories and jokes were just as entertaining as his singing.

“Long story short”, if you were lucky enough to have been entertained by George, you know we lost an entertainer like no other. If you were lucky enough to know George, we lost a piece of ourselves, as George had a way of becoming a part of our souls. He will forever be in our hearts.

“Love ya, baby”.
